Since 1996, CGX AERO in SYS is founded. Geographical Information System is its core business.
CGX AERO develops, integrates, distributes, implements and helps to operate high added value aeronautical information systems optimized for Civil and Military Aviation around the world (more than 40 references so far). SME of more than 40 people and more than 20 affiliated experts, CGX AERO is located in Castres and Toulouse. CGX AERO carries out projects either directly or through strong partnerships with ENAC (National Civil Aviation Academy), THALES Air Systems, AIRBUS, QUOVADIS www.quovadisway.com (RNP procedures and GNSS navigation).
In 2012, CAT’Sud, aeronautical studies office, acting as 100% subsidiary of CGx AERO in SYS since august 2010, merged with CGX AERO, enabling to face new challenges and obligations of small and medium airports. The new business line of CGX AERO dedicated to Airport and Airline services enables to support them in terms of conformity, prospective, in the new era of approaches assisted by satellites and flight ops services.
CGX AERO is a unique company in the world that specializes in the field of expertise with the GOLD Level Esri Inc. partnership (Esri Inc. is the worldwide leader in GIS – Geographical Information System).
Since its creation in 1996, CGX AERO is a registered resource integration and knowledge center for GeoConcept Geographical Information Systems

CGX AERO and ENAC (French Civil Aviation University) developed a partnership since 2006 under the impetus given by a cooperation with AIRBUS.

As part of this contract, a common unit of procedure design and aeronautical charting has been created. For the purpose of developing instrument flight procedure, CGX AERO is the exclusive worldwide distributor of GéoTITAN® (expert solution for instrument flight procedure design), belonging to ENAC.
As part of Aerospace Valley competitiveness cluster, CGX AERO, among the founder members of the project GAIA Shared Virtual Sky® (www.gaia.aero.com), is also a member of certified SimCA projects (Airport Driving simulator) and SCAII (Safe Chain for Aeronautical Information Integration).
